Arms of Love Foster Care has started an endowment fund to ensure ministry will continue for years to come. The goal is to raise $100,000 in March to help establish the fund. We are praying for 100 donors who are willing to give $1,000, which is the maximum qualifying donation for couples for the Arizona charitable tax credit. The endowment fund will provide for additional services for foster and adoptive families, and potentially help support teenagers aging out of the system as a long term goal. A strong support system is crucial for foster families and customized throughout the process to the unique needs of each child to include resources like well-trained specialists, counselors, material assistance and post-adoption care. Donors like you are key to funding the extended support system that helps children toward healing, love and a healthy family.
The reimbursement Arms of Love receives from the Arizona Department of Child Safety allows us to license foster parents according to the state’s requirements and provide some additional resources to licensed families. Only with your help can families be provided with more resources and support.
Financial support through charitable giving, tax credit donations and endowment gifts expands services to foster families and the children in their care, and ensures the long-term sustainability of the ministry and that of the families. Recently an Arms of Love Foster Care leader reconnected with a family who fostered, adopted and closed their license through our agency. They had the privilege of adopting an adorable five-year-old boy and six-year old girl. The children had few known issues and the family was ecstatic. Life seemed like it would move forward smoothly. Arizona Baptist Children's Services & Family Ministries (ABCS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions made to ABCS will be used wherever the need is greatest, unless a specific ministry is designated. Funds stay locally in the region where the contribution is given. ABCS is accredited by the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.
