Gifts to any of the seven ministries of Arizona Baptist Children’s Services help to provide hope and care to hurting children and families throughout Arizona and Mexico. The following is an example of what a wide impact such gifts can have:

Donors who give to Arms of Love Foster Care help to support and encourage foster families as they open their homes to children in care of the state. An Arms of Love foster mom was originally licensed for ages 6 and up, and was looking to foster one child. However, after taking in a 6 year-old girl and caring for her for a couple months, she felt God was calling her to take in her two younger siblings, ages 4 and 1. After much hesitation and praying, she got her license amended and took in both the younger siblings. She has since gotten to know their mom and has come alongside her and encouraged her, even invited her over for dinner to spend time with the kids in addition to visits. About two months ago, the mom started coming to church with her and the kids. She has been attending every other week, making the long drive across town. Recently, the mom gave her life to Christ! The foster mom now sees she was called to foster care for more than just taking care of a single child in her home. By letting God stretch her and use her in ways she never imagined, the mom now has a new start in life.
