ABCS Weekly Devotional: Wondrous Works

Devotion written by Raquel Williams, Statewide Director of New Life Pregnancy Center.

I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and your wondrous works. Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, and I will declare Your greatness. They shall utter the memory of Your great goodness, and shall sing of Your righteousness. – Psalm 145:5-7

God is good and always displaying his wondrous works. We’ve seen Him in conversations as we provide diapers or food for a family in need, as we care for an abortion-minded woman, as we talk with hurting children in the car rides on the way to a visit, or perhaps as we sit with families in a courtroom awaiting the judge’s decision. Rest assured that God is good and He is at work. As God’s word says in Psalm 14, let us “meditate on the glorious splendor of HIS majesty” and “declare HIS greatness!” God has called us to minister to children and families and to make Him known as we boldly share about the hope in Christ and goodness of God with these families. As you go about your day be reminded that God is at work even when we don’t see it, He is there. Let’s meditate on His wondrous works from our past knowing that He is still the same good God today.
