Purposeful Moves

ABCS made purposeful moves in 3 regions of Arizona, trusting God to position ministries for greater impact and faithful stewardship.

ABCS was quite literally on the move throughout the year. Three out of the five regions we serve in across Arizona experienced relocations. Each one prayerfully considered and orchestrated by God to position our ministries for greater impact. These purposeful moves reflect our Core Value of being good stewards of all we have been given. Through these shifts we can better use our resources and meet the needs of our ministry in this season.

Northern Region: Moving from the Prescott Cabin to Canyon Bible Church

For years, the Prescott cabin was a busy place for ABCS ministry in Northern Arizona. The space blessed many families in the area through resources offered from the foster care closet, comfortable supervised visitation rooms and events hosted to engage the community. Due to a shift in some of the services provided in Northern Arizona, it was time for a change. God opened a door at Canyon Bible Church that allowed for us to move our presence in Prescott onto their campus. This move strengthens our connection with their congregation. They have long supported our mission. Over the years, ABCS has had the privilege of licensing several foster families who are members of this church. This deepened the impact of our shared commitment to serving vulnerable children and families. This new location provides a more strategic and sustainable setting for our ministry in Northern Arizona.

Southern Region: New Life Pregnancy Center’s Move to Rosemary House

In Tucson, New Life Pregnancy Center (NLPC) entered an exciting new season by relocating to the Rosemary House. Situated directly behind ABCS’ statewide headquarters, this house was acquired five years ago with a long-term vision in mind. Thanks to the generosity of churches and groups who contributed funds and labor for necessary renovations, this vision became a reality in 2024. The move places NLPC in a more functional and centralized space. Which allows us to better serve women and families facing unexpected pregnancies.

Southwest Region: Yuma Office’s Move to Real Life Church

The Southwest region experience changed as well, as our Yuma office transitioned from Immanuel Southern Baptist Church to the campus of Real Life Church. This prayerful decision was made as we evaluated the space needed for the services we provide currently. By downsizing and consolidating, we are ensuring that our resources are used in the most effective and intentional way possible. We are grateful for the many years of partnership with Immanuel Southern Baptist Church. We accomplished many years of ministry together on their campus. It is also exciting to look ahead at the new opportunities that this move to Real Life Church presents. We continue to pray that Immanuel Baptist will remain a beacon of hope and transformation in the community, just as we look forward to the ways God will use this new space for His glory.

Trusting God in Every Transition

With each of these purposeful moves, we have seen God’s hand at work. While change can often bring uncertainty, we trust in God’s perfect timing and provision. These relocations are not just about new buildings or addresses—they are about positioning our ministries to serve more effectively and faithfully. We are grateful for the support of our church partners, volunteers and donors who made these transitions possible. As we move forward, we remain committed to our mission: to provide hope and care to hurting children and families through Christ-centered ministries. May God continue to lead and guide ABCS as we strive to be good stewards of all He has given us.
