We’ve asked a few different people to tell us about their “why” in their ministry area, today we hear from Raquel Williams, Statewide Director of New Life Pregnancy Center.

For You, Lord are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in loving-kindness to all who call upon You. Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer; and give heed to the voice of my supplications! In the day of my trouble I shall call upon You, for You will answer me.” – Psalm 86:5-7

Because we all need Jesus. We need His forgiveness and His lovingkindness. I by no means deserve it, yet God is ever so loving and gracious to humble Himself to save me. My “why” in serving with New Life Pregnancy Center is because just like I needed to be saved and need Jesus, our clients need Jesus. Our clients need to hear about the forgiveness, lovingkindness, freedom and HOPE that they can receive through Christ alone. But they cannot know if we do not share. God has given each of us stories to connect with those we serve that they may hear about His faithfulness, His goodness, and the hope that they can have in the midst of trials. In the day of my trouble God answered me and I know that just as He’s faithful He will answer to all who call upon Him.
